July 31, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) board approved the submission of a binding offer to acquire a majority stake in the issued and paid-up ordinary share capital of a target company, according to a disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The board's approval, granted on July 30, 2026, follows the company's earlier communication dated July 21, 2023, regarding the same matter.

The proposed transaction remains subject to successful negotiations, completion of due diligence, execution of definitive transaction documents, and receipt of all requisite corporate, regulatory, and statutory approvals and consents.

The proposed consideration and other commercial terms remain subject to finalisation, and no definitive agreement has been executed at this stage.
