PTC, Indus Cloud partner to launch Huawei Cloud Solutions

April 17, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PSX:PTC) has entered into a strategic partnership with Indus Cloud, part of the Master Group, to roll out advanced cloud solutions powered by Huawei Cloud in Pakistan.
This marks a major step in expanding enterprise-grade digital infrastructure in the country.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening PTCL’s cloud and data centre ecosystem by combining its nationwide connectivity and enterprise footprint with Indus Cloud’s platform expertise.
The initiative will enable wider access to Huawei Cloud Stack services for businesses and government entities, offering secure, scalable, and locally hosted solutions aligned with evolving digital requirements.
The agreement was formalised by Asif Ahmad, Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 5G, and Rumman Arshad Dar, Chief Investment and Information Officer at Indus Cloud Limited, according to a press release issued.
Senior representatives from both sides, including Muhammad Sharukh Malik and Syeda Amina Ahmed, were also present at the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the occasion, Asif Ahmad highlighted the growing demand for reliable and locally compliant cloud infrastructure as organisations across Pakistan accelerate digital transformation.
He noted that the partnership reinforces PTCL’s ambition to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem by integrating connectivity, data centres, and cloud services at scale.
Rumman Arshad Dar emphasised that PTCL’s extensive national reach provides a strong platform to extend Huawei Cloud capabilities to organisations seeking robust and compliant infrastructure solutions, adding that the partnership is expected to support evolving market needs.
The alliance further deepens PTCL’s cloud portfolio, emphasizing a shared commitment to enhancing access to enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure across Pakistan.
