PSX keeps banking, oil & gas tradable indices unchanged

August 03, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock
Exchange (PSX) has completed the re-composition exercise of its Oil & Gas
and Banking Sector Tradable Indices for the review period from January 1, 2026
to June 30, 2026, with no change made to the constituents of either index.
The exercise was carried out in accordance with the
selection criteria laid out in the exchange's brochure for the two indices,
available on the PSX website.
As per the methodology, the sector indices are designed
to capture a minimum of 80% of the free-float market capitalization of the
respective sector, with no minimum limit on the number of companies included.
