PSX adds record 25,281 new investors in September

October 01, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) added 25,281 new investors in September 2026, the highest number for any single month, taking its total investor base to 656,218.

Khurram Schehzad shared the figures in a post on his X account.

He said the investor base had more than doubled since March 2024, with most of the new participants belonging to Gen-Z.

He said the change was visible not only in market performance but also in who was taking part in the market.

He summed it up as more investors, broader participation and deeper capital markets.
