PSX Closing Bell: Up Where We Belong

February 03, 2026 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Tuesday's trading session at 186,900.73, showing an increase of 1,842.90 points or 1.00%.

The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 187,518.78 (+2,460.95) and a low of 185,545.92 (+488.09) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 390.19 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 72 closed up, 25 closed down, while 3 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were ILP (+10.00%), CPHL (+6.21%), TRG (+5.04%), BNWM (+4.84%), and BOP (+4.00%).

On the other hand, top losers were JVDC (-1.79%), SAZEW (-1.74%), SNGP (-1.70%), PABC (-1.59%), and PSX (-1.31%).

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were FFC (+273.95pts), UBL (+131.25pts), ENGROH (+126.97pts), MEBL (+111.02pts), and SYS (+91.62pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were EFERT (-65.14pts), PPL (-46.72pts), SAZEW (-29.30pts), SNGP (-18.76pts), and JVDC (-16.26pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+814.47pts), Fertilizer (+233.78pts), Technology & Communication (+193.39pts), Pharmaceuticals (+117.43pts), and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+113.23pts).

While the index was let down by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-57.47pts), Property (-16.26pts), Tobacco (-7.23pts), Miscellaneous (-7.00pts), and Sugar & Allied Industries (-1.24pts).

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 112,154.61 with a net gain of 955.62 points or 0.86%.

Total market volume was 848.56 million shares compared to 740.09m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs50.03 billion showing an increase of Rs7.82bn.

There were 411,507 trades reported in 485 companies with 293 closing up, 145 closing down, and 47 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 61,273 points or 48.77% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 12,846 points or 7.38% so far this calendar year.
