November 27, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Thursday's trading session at 165,373.31, showing an increase of 2,184.78 points or 1.34%.

The index remained positive throughout the day, showing an intraday high of 165,611.10 (+2,422.57) and a low of 163,509.28 (+320.75) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 175.28 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies, 77 closed up, 22 closed down, while 1 was unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were SSGC (+9.99%), FATIMA (+6.97%), MEBL (+4.42%), PSEL (+4.09%), and PPL (+3.47%).

On the other hand, top losers were INIL (-1.25%), MUREB (-1.17%), HUMNL (-0.91%), BNWM (-0.84%), and SSOM (-0.75%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were MEBL (+285.78pts), LUCK (+222.74pts), PPL (+156.83pts), OGDC (+146.34pts), and ENGROH (+130.27pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were BWCL (-7.80pts), PIOC (-6.16pts), PTC (-5.25pts), MUREB (-4.64pts), and INIL (-4.57pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+633.24pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+375.29pts), Cement (+305.81pts), Fertilizer (+284.12pts), and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+139.38pts).

While the index was let down by Insurance (-3.24pts), Food & Personal Care Products (-1.65pts), Chemical (-0.40pts), Vanaspati & Allied Industries (-0.16pts), and Woollen (-0.08pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 51,952.18 with a net gain of 686.35 points or 1.34%.

Total market volume was 498.36 million shares compared to 636.41m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs30.59 billion showing a decrease of Rs0.33bn.

There were 297,011 trades reported in 482 companies with 287 closing up, 152 closing down, and 43 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 39,746 points or 31.64% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 50,246 points or 43.64% so far this calendar year.
