July 21, 2026 (MLN):The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed Tuesday's session slightly higher, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index extending its gains as selective buying in heavyweight banking and cement stocks helped offset selling pressure in oil, fertilizer, and refinery shares.

The market remained volatile as investors weighed improving diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire between the United States and Iran against renewed military exchanges and fresh concerns over regional energy supplies.

The easing in global oil prices, amid hopes that mediation efforts could lead to de-escalation, also provided some relief to investor sentiment.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Tuesday's trading session at 176,133.56, showing an increase of 205.83 points or 0.12%.
