February 09, 2026 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Monday's trading session at 182,340.38, showing a decrease of 1,789.20 points or 0.97%.

The index traded in a range of 4,657.80 points showing an intraday high of 185,650.59 (+1,521.01) and a low of 180,992.79 (-3,136.79) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 597.72 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 33 closed up, 66 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.

Top losers during the day were AKBL (-9.23%), LOTCHEM (-5.18%), FABL (-5.07%), NML (-3.87%), and OGDC (-3.46%).

On the other hand, top gainers were AGP (+10.00%), KEL (+5.37%), SAZEW (+5.30%), NESTLE (+5.25%), and ABOT (+3.33%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that dragged the index lower were OGDC (-242.89pts), MEBL (-178.32pts), PPL (-173.08pts), UBL (-171.67pts), and LUCK (-166.21pts).

Meanwhile, companies that added points to the index were SAZEW (+88.58pts), MCB (+69.01pts), NESTLE (+63.40pts), AGP (+60.86pts), and NBP (+45.44pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was let down by Commercial Banks (-766.86pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-492.09pts), Cement (-241.45pts), Power Generation & Distribution (-95.67pts), and Technology & Communication (-95.26pts).

While the index was supported by Automobile Assembler (+99.35pts), Pharmaceuticals (+87.27pts), Food & Personal Care Products (+78.76pts), Cable & Electrical Goods (+12.05pts), and Transport (+3.27pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 109,847.66 with a net loss of 916.07 points or 0.83%.

Total market volume was 931.36 million shares compared to 1,272.64m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs58.88 billion showing a decrease of Rs1.48bn.

There were 455,342 trades reported in 481 companies with 161 closing up, 278 closing down, and 42 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 56,713 points or 45.14% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 8,286 points or 4.76% so far this calendar year.
