PSX Closing Bell: A Gentle Push Upward

February 11, 2026 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Wednesday's trading session at 183,049.80, showing an increase of 896.25 points or 0.49%.

The index traded in a range of 1,747.06 points showing an intraday high of 183,801.70 (+1,648.15) and a low of 182,054.64 (-98.91) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 350.08 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 41 closed up, 58 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were FABL (+9.07%), SCBPL (+7.19%), CPHL (+5.76%), ENGROH (+4.42%), and MLCF (+3.44%).

On the other hand, top losers were HUMNL (-4.91%), RMPL (-3.43%), GHNI (-3.23%), JVDC (-3.02%), and SAZEW (-2.83%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were ENGROH (+411.67pts), LUCK (+172.46pts), FABL (+126.21pts), MCB (+124.39pts), and BAFL (+86.10pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were BAHL (-133.93pts), PPL (-97.31pts), UBL (-80.49pts), SAZEW (-48.32pts), and OGDC (-37.82pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+401.92pts), Commercial Banks (+299.78pts), Cement (+295.03pts), Power Generation & Distribution (+51.79pts), and Leather & Tanneries (+43.34pts).

While the index was let down by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-133.96pts), Automobile Assembler (-48.60pts), Food & Personal Care Products (-30.54pts), Property (-27.76pts), and Technology & Communication (-22.03pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 109,841.96 with a net gain of 406.56 points or 0.37%.

Total market volume was 734.67 million shares compared to 1,062.31m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs35.39 billion showing a decrease of Rs2.49bn.

There were 363,806 trades reported in 476 companies with 207 closing up, 223 closing down, and 46 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 57,422 points or 45.71% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 8,995 points or 5.17% so far this calendar year.
