PNSC makes payment of Rs4bn for Prime Minister's Austerity Fund

March 25, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PSX:PNSC) has released a Rs. 4 billion payment under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the Prime Minister's Austerity Fund 2026, established in response to the prevailing situation in the country.

The state-owned shipping giant's Board of Directors convened an emergent meeting on 20th March 2026 after receiving a letter from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs (MOMA) regarding a Federal Cabinet decision dated 19th March 2026.

The board approved the release of funds, citing the public at large as the beneficiary.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
