PNSC inducts MR-II Tanker into managed fleet

February 10, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has inducted an MR-II tanker vessel into its managed fleet, expanding its shipping capacity, the state-owned carrier said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The vessel, M.T. Quetta, has been inducted through PNSC’s subsidiary Quetta Shipping (Private) Limited, in line with earlier disclosures made on October 22, 2025.

PNSC said the tanker has been successfully inducted into its managed fleet, strengthening its presence in liquid cargo transportation.

Details regarding the vessel’s deadweight tonnage (DWT) were not disclosed in the filing.

The induction aligns with PNSC’s broader strategy to enhance fleet capacity and optimize earnings through a diversified vessel mix amid volatile global freight markets.

PNSC continues gradual fleet expansion with the induction of an MR-II tanker under its subsidiary structure.
