This was stated by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif while chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Monday.

He said Pakistan should be presented abroad as a tourism brand, as per the press release issued.

He emphasized the establishment of special tourism zones to boost the tourism sector and directed the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) to take immediate practical steps for its promotion.

The Prime Minister called for special arrangements to support domestic tourism and facilitate local tourists at recreational spots.

He also outlined the need for a proper plan to ensure long-term investment in the tourism sector.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan is endowed with natural resources and unmatched beauty, pointing out the immense potential of the tourism sector in earning foreign exchange.
