PACRA signs MoU with China’s Lianhe Global for sustainable finance push

September 01, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Credit Rating Agency Limited (PACRA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lianhe Ratings Global Limited (Lianhe Global), the international arm of one of China’s largest credit rating groups.

Under the MoU, the parties intend to explore cooperation in sustainable-finance ratings and assessments, green and sustainability-linked instruments, research and knowledge-sharing, and rating-related services for potential Panda Bond issuances by Pakistani sovereign and corporate issuers.

Specific initiatives arising from the cooperation will be subject to the execution of definitive agreements, as applicable. Any material development will be disclosed in accordance with applicable requirements.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
