OGDC brings Bobi Deep-1 into production

June 29, 2026 (MLN): Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX:OGDC) has commenced production from the Bobi Deep-1 well in District Sanghar, Sindh, following an oil discovery at the Massive Sand of the Lower Goru Formation disclosed on June 3, 2026.

The well is currently producing 2,000 Barrels of Oil Per Day (BOPD).

To accelerate monetization, OGDC completed the laying of a 4-inch, 1.5 km flowline from the well site to Bobi Plant, enabling early production from the discovery.

OGDC holds 100% working interest as Operator in the Bobi and Dhamraki Mining Lease.

The company said production from Bobi Deep-1 would support domestic energy supplies and reduce reliance on imports.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
