Nova Minerals eyes investment in Pakistan’s gold and rare earths

November 14, 2025 (MLN):  U.S.-based Nova Minerals Ltd. has expressed strong interest in exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan’s gold, antimony, and rare earth mineral sectors.

During a meeting with Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, the company’s delegation highlighted Pakistan’s geological diversity, government facilitation, and policy reforms as key factors making the country attractive for long-term investment, said a press release issued.

Minister Sheikh emphasized Pakistan’s vast and largely untapped mineral potential, noting that foreign investment will help unlock natural resources, strengthen economic ties, and promote technology transfer.

He underlined the government’s commitment to shifting from raw mineral extraction to local processing and value-added exports, assuring maximum facilitation for foreign investors and joint ventures.

The Nova Minerals team expressed interest in technical collaboration, knowledge exchange, and conducting feasibility studies with local partners.

Minister Sheikh welcomed the company’s enthusiasm, stressing the government’s support for responsible, sustainable, and technology-driven ventures that contribute to local value addition.

He added that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif strongly supports foreign investment as a key driver of economic growth.

Furthermore, the Minister reaffirmed the BOI’s commitment to providing a transparent and investor-friendly environment to turn Pakistan’s natural resources into sustainable economic prosperity.
