National Resources Limited's Darigwan site hit in Balochistan

April 23, 2026 (MLN): National Resources Limited's Darigwan Area site in Chagai, Balochistan came under attack by unidentified miscreants at approximately 17:45 pm, yesterday.

Security forces, including the Frontier Corps, responded promptly to the incident and have since secured the area, with a clearance and sweep operation currently underway, according to a statement issued by the company.

The company is closely coordinating with relevant authorities and has committed to providing further updates as the situation develops, reiterating that the safety and security of its employees and operations remain its highest priority.

National Resources Limited also reaffirmed its dedication to the development and empowerment of local communities across Balochistan, with a strong focus on improving livelihoods and contributing to economic upliftment.

More than 90% of the workforce at the Darigwan site comprises individuals from the province.
