NCCPL issues Ramadan timings for clearing systems

February 19, 2026 (MLN): National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has released the designated time schedule for its clearing and settlement systems during the holy month of Ramadan 2026.

According to the circular, NCC systems will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, with adjusted market and release session timings across various segments, including the Margin Trading System (MTS) and Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB).

On Fridays, most market sessions will close earlier, reflecting shorter working hours during Ramadan.

KYC services will remain available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the week, while MTS market activity will run from 9:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays and until 1:30 p.m. on Fridays.

SLB market operations will also follow reduced hours, closing at 1:15 p.m. on weekdays and 12:15 p.m. on Fridays.

The company stated that detailed schedules covering pay-and-collect activities, collateral management, margin financing operations, and settlement processes have been shared with stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning during the fasting month.

NCCPL advised clearing members to coordinate closely with settling banks and customer support for any operational queries, emphasizing adherence to the revised timelines to avoid settlement disruptions.
