Mughal Energy's hybrid power plant achieves Commercial Operation Date

August 31, 2026 (MLN): Mughal Energy Limited (MEL), a subsidiary
of Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited, has successfully commissioned
the main 31.50MW turbine of its captive hybrid power plant project and achieved
its Commercial Operation Date (COD), following completion of all requisite
testing and commissioning activities.
The company stated that the plant is now ready for
commercial billing, with the information conveyed to the Exchange in compliance
with applicable regulatory requirements.
The aforementioned information was
disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
