Matco Foods secures Rs2.5bn Sukuk funding

February 27, 2026 (MLN): Matco Foods Limited (PSX:MFL) has successfully issued rated, secured, and privately placed short-term Sukuk certificates amounting to Rs2.5bn.

The Sukuk carries a tenor of six months and has been priced at 6-month KIBOR plus 1.00%.

The issuance has been rated A-1 by VIS Credit Rating Company Limited (VIS).

The proceeds from the Sukuk have been utilized to meet the working capital requirements of the Company, ,according to the company's statement issued today.

The successful completion of this Sukuk issuance strengthens the Company's liquidity position and shows the confidence of institutional investors in Matco Foods Limited's financial strength and governance framework.

The issuance further demonstrates the Company's continued focus on diversifying its funding mix through Shariah-compliant financing instruments, in line with its long-term strategy.
