Mari Energies starts production at Spinwam-1, Waziristan Block

April 01, 2026 (MLN): Mari Energies Limited (PSX:MARI) has begun gas and condensate production from its Spinwam-1 discovery in the Waziristan Block, KP Province, under the Extended Well Testing (EWT) phase.

The well, completed in the Lockhart reservoir, is currently producing approximately 40 MMscfd of gas and ~200 BBL/D of condensate.

The addition of Spinwam-1 brings the early production facilities at Shewa to full capacity, with combined output from both the Shewa and Spinwam wells now reaching around 100 MMscfd of gas and 800 BBL/D of condensate.

MariEnergies operates the Waziristan Block with a 55% working interest, alongside joint venture partners Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and Orient Petroleum Inc., holding 35% and 10% working interests, respectively.
