Mari Energies signs key agreements to boost gas supply

March 24, 2026 (MLN): Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI), the 100% working interest owner and operator of the Mari gas field, has executed multiple agreements for the Pressure Enhancement Facilities (PEF) Project with major fertilizer companies including Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited, and Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited.

The PEF Project is a strategic initiative aimed at debottlenecking gas pipelines and installing compression facilities across the gas gathering network.

This will help maintain the minimum delivery pressure of Habib Rahi Limestone (HRL) reservoir gas, potentially extending production plateau and ensuring consistent gas supply to domestic fertilizer plants.

By securing reliable gas for these facilities, the project directly supports urea production and contributes to national food security.

Mari Energies emphasized that the PEF Project reflects its commitment to collaborating with domestic industry to strengthen energy infrastructure and ensure sustainable operations.
