Macter International rolls out TirzaTrim for diabetes management

January 29, 2026 (MLN): Macter International Limited (PSX:MACTER) has successfully launched TirzaTrim (Tirzepatide) in a multidose pre-filled pen (PFP) presentation.

Tirzepatide is a dual Glucose-Dependent Insulinotropic Polypeptide (GIP) and Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, indicated for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, according to the company's statement issued today.

The medication offers additional benefits in glycemic control and weight reduction, representing a next-generation incretin-based therapy with significant clinical relevance in cardio-metabolic care.

The launch of TirzaTrim Multidose Pre-Filled Pen marks an important milestone in the company's biotechnology portfolio and strengthens Macter's position in advanced injectable drug delivery systems and complex biologics within Pakistan.
