Maple Leaf Cement extends up to Rs2bn working capital support

July 31, 2026 (MLN): Loans and advances of up to Rs2 billion each have been approved for Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited (KTML) and Maple Leaf Capital Limited (MLCL) by the Board of Directors of Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (PSX: MLCF), to meet the working capital requirements of the two companies, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

KTML is a holding company of MLCF, while MLCL is an associated company. Both facilities are subject to approval by MLCF's shareholders under the Companies Act, 2017.

In a reciprocal arrangement, the Board of KTML would recommend a similar facility of loans/advances of up to Rs2bn for MLCF to meet its working capital requirements, subject to approval by KTML's shareholders.
