Lucky Core expands animal health footprint

March 31, 2026 (MLN): Lucky Core Industries Limited (PSX: LCI) has inaugurated a veterinary medicine manufacturing facility at its Sheikhupura site.
This marked a significant step in expanding its animal health business and strengthening domestic production capabilities.
The facility, located along the Lahore–Sheikhupura Road, commenced operations on March 30, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The development builds on the company’s earlier disclosure in June 2023 and underscores its broader strategy to enhance local manufacturing and reduce reliance on imports for veterinary products.
This new plant is expected to support growing demand within Pakistan’s livestock and dairy sectors, which remain critical to the country’s agriculture-driven economy.
Lucky Core, formerly known as ICI Pakistan, has been diversifying its portfolio across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and animal health, with the latest investment aimed at capturing long-term growth in veterinary care and farm productivity.
The company did not disclose the investment size or production capacity of the facility.
