K-Electric appoints Syed Taha CEO

March 24, 2026 (MLN): K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL) appoints Syed Taha as Chief Executive Officer, effective 15 April 2026, succeeding interim CEO Adeeb Ahmad.

Syed Taha holds an engineering degree and an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.

Since February 2020, he serves as MD & CEO of Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO). His prior roles include Executive Director at Oasis Energy, heading the Program Management Office of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, Nigeria, and Chief Distribution Officer at K-Electric, along with various senior leadership positions across multiple organizations.
