K-Electric applies to list sukuk on PSX

June 17, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has revealed that K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL), a listed company on the Exchange, has applied for the listing of its rated, unsecured, short-term Sukuk Certificates.

The total issue size stands at Rs3 billion, of which Rs1bn has already been issued to Pre-IPO investors, according to the notification issued by PSX.

The remaining Rs2bn inclusive of a Green-Shoe option of Rs1bn is being offered to the general public through a public offer outlined in the draft prospectus.

As per Circular No. 16 of 2023 issued by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on November 08, 2023, the Draft Prospectus for K-Electric’s Sukuk Certificates is now available for public comments.

It can be accessed on the PSX website under the section titled “Public Comments on Draft Prospectus of Sukuk Certificates of K-Electric.”
