JazzWorld H1 revenue jumps 23% to Rs269bn on digital growth

August 03, 2026 (MLN): JazzWorld reported revenue of more than Rs269bn in the first half of 2026, up 23.0% year-on-year (YoY), driven by strong growth across its telecommunications and infrastructure business and expanding digital services portfolio.

The company invested Rs29.2bn during the period to expand network capacity, deploy newly acquired spectrum and strengthen Pakistan's digital infrastructure.

Growth accelerated during the second quarter, with revenue increasing 25.3% YoY to Rs139.4bn. Telecommunications and infrastructure revenue grew 15.8% YoY to Rs85.5bn, supported by effective pricing, improved prepaid monetization, continued adoption of multiplay offers, higher data consumption and an expanding subscriber base.

As JazzWorld continued executing its DO1440 and AI1440 strategy, digital revenue increased 44.1% YoY to Rs53.9bn and accounted for 38.7% of total revenue, up from 33.6% a year earlier. Financial Services revenue grew 53.3% YoY to approximately Rs39.0bn, supported by continued expansion in lending at JazzCash alongside growth in payments, merchant services and SME solutions.

EBITDA increased 30.5% YoY to Rs60.3bn, showing strong revenue growth, disciplined cost management and operating leverage.

During the second quarter, JazzWorld invested Rs20.4bn, up 27.4% YoY, as Jazz began deploying its newly acquired spectrum and preparing its network for the expansion of 5G services.

Investment is expected to increase further through the remainder of the year as spectrum deployment accelerates and network capacity is expanded to support rising data demand and digital connectivity.

JazzWorld's financial services ecosystem is set to expand following the acquisition of a 76.33% stake in TPL Insurance for approximately $16.4m.

The transaction will bring together TPL Insurance's underwriting capabilities with the reach of JazzCash and Mobilink Bank, creating opportunities to broaden access to digital insurance across Pakistan.

Jazz, Pakistan's leading connectivity provider under JazzWorld, reached 75.4 million mobile subscribers, while 4G users grew 6.6% YoY to 58.1m, bringing 4G penetration to 77.1%. Average data usage increased 14.4% YoY to 8.2 GB per user, while multiplay customers reached 22.9 million.

JazzCash continued to strengthen its leadership in Pakistan's digital financial services landscape, serving more than 60 million registered customers.

Its Gross Transaction Value (LTM) increased 67.5% YoY to Rs19.6tr, while the platform issued more than 224,000 digital loans daily during the second quarter. Its active merchants exceeded 735,000, supported by a network of over one million Raast QR-enabled merchants.

During the second quarter, JazzCash and Mobilink Bank launched Treasury Bill investments through the JazzCash app, enabling eligible customers to invest in Pakistan government securities and broadening access to formal financial markets.

JazzCash was also recognized among the World's Top Fintech Companies 2026 by CNBC and Statista in the Payments category.

Across JazzWorld's digital ecosystem, Tamasha continued to attract audiences throughout the Pakistan Super League season, closing the second quarter with 38.7 million active users.

SIMOSA, JazzWorld's digital self-care and lifestyle platform, reached 33.8 million active users, ROX surpassed 3.3 million active users, and FikrFree reached 17.9 million policyholders, showing continued adoption of JazzWorld's digital platforms.
