JazzCash to disburse fuel subsidies across KP

April 10, 2026 (MLN):  JazzCash has been appointed as the exclusive disbursement partner for the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Ehsaas Fuel Support Scheme, in collaboration with Mobilink Bank, which marks a significant step toward large-scale digital distribution of fuel subsidies.

The initiative is part of the provincial government’s broader push to digitize public services and improve transparency in welfare programs.

Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries will be identified and verified by government departments, with financial assistance transferred directly into their JazzCash wallets for instant access, APP reported.

Speaking on the development, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said the program reflects the government’s commitment to supporting citizens amid rising living costs.

He emphasized that the use of digital platforms ensures assistance is delivered efficiently while preserving the dignity of recipients.

JazzCash will utilize its extensive network of over one million Raast QR-enabled merchants and agents to facilitate access to funds across both urban and remote areas.

 The platform’s prior experience in handling large-scale government disbursements is expected to ensure secure and timely payments.

To further assist beneficiaries, JazzCash has also launched a dedicated helpline for support and guidance.

Commenting on the partnership, JazzCash CEO Murtaza Ali stated that the company aims to streamline the transfer of financial assistance, ensuring beneficiaries can access funds quickly and without complications.
