August 04, 2026 (MLN): J.K. Spinning Mills Limited (PSX:JKSM) has expanded its solar power generation capacity by 8.0MW as part of its commitment to increasing reliance on clean and renewable energy.

A move, the company says will meet its energy needs while helping reduce environmental pollution.

The Company said the strategic investment would enhance energy efficiency, generate significant cost savings, and strengthen its long-term operational sustainability.

It added that the move reflects its broader commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, promoting environmentally responsible operations, and creating long-term value for stakeholders while contributing to a more sustainable future.

The Company has requested the Exchange to inform TRE certificate holders of the development accordingly.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
