IPAK unit approves Rs1.4bn metallizer investment

July 22, 2026 (MLN): International Packaging Films Limited's (PSX: IPAK) wholly owned subsidiary Global Packaging Films (Private) Limited (GPAK) has approved the acquisition of a state-of-the-art metallizer at an estimated project cost of approximately Rs1.4bn.

The investment is part of the Group's ongoing strategy to increase the proportion of value-added products in its packaging films portfolio.

The metallizer will further strengthen GPAK's metallizing capabilities, expand its production capacity for value-added metallized packaging films, enhance operational efficiencies and support growing demand from domestic and export markets.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
