IPAK draws strong buyer interest at 3P Pakistan, signs MoUs

September 07, 2026 (MLN): International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) received an overwhelming response from local industry and international delegates at 3P Plas Print Pack Pakistan 2026, as its newly developed flexible packaging films attracted strong interest and generated business inquiries with potential to translate into higher domestic sales and exports.

Company also signed MoUs and agreements with different buyers during the expo.

Thousands of visitors, including foreign delegates, visited the IPAK stall during the three-day exhibition at Expo Centre Lahore, showing particular interest in the company’s new generation of specialised, sustainable and cost-effective packaging films developed through continued research and development.

Prominent visitors included Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Energy Minister Faisal Saif Khokhar, Primary Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazeer, Social Welfare Minister Sohail Shokat Butt, Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafeeq, MNA Hafiz Mian Muhammad Numan, Political Secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister Malik Zeeshan, Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development Sadia Taimoor, MPAs Ghazali Saleem Butt, Mian Imran Javaid, Ambreen Ismail and Maria Talal, besides PTV anchor Umar Aslam.

IPAK showcased coated films, AlOx transparent barrier films, ultra-high-barrier metallized films, low-temperature sealing, aroma-barrier, high-heat-resistance and retortable films, next-generation BOPE and circular packaging solutions including Mono-PE, Mono-PP, Mono-PET and PCR films.

Foreign delegates showed particular interest in the newly launched products, with several visitors exploring sourcing and business opportunities that could pave the way for further exports from Pakistan.

More than 500 industry professionals and foreign delegates also visited IPAK’s manufacturing facility at Quaid-e-Azam Business Park near Sheikhupura. Equipped with advanced German machinery, the facility showcased IPAK’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality and ability to produce a comprehensive range of flexible packaging films.

The visits generated significant inquiries and business discussions for both domestic and international markets, reflecting growing confidence in IPAK as Pakistan’s only manufacturer offering all major categories of flexible packaging films under one manufacturing platform.

IPAK currently exports to more than 35 countries and generated approximately $50 million in exports last year.

The strong response at 3P Pakistan reinforces its strategy of using R&D, innovation and advanced manufacturing to develop higher-value products, expand exports, support import substitution and strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global flexible packaging industry.
