August 21, 2026 (MLN):  International Industries Limited (PSX: INIL) reported a massive 2.85x (185%) surge in its consolidated net profit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, reaching Rs4.50bn compared to Rs1.58bn in the preceding year.

Alongside the financial results, the board recommended a final cash dividend of Rs5 per share.

Reflecting this stellar bottom-line expansion, basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) more than tripled to Rs21.92, up from Rs6.82 in FY25.

The primary driver behind this financial performance was a powerful top-line revenue expansion combined with a 76% jump in gross margins.

INIL’s consolidated revenue from contracts with customers surged by 40% year-on-year to reach Rs120.25bn, up from Rs85.81bn in FY25.

Although the cost of sales grew by 36% to Rs105.21bn, revenue growth significantly outpaced direct production cost increases, allowing gross profit to expand to Rs15.04bn compared to Rs8.56bn in the prior year.

On the operational front, overheads expanded to support higher market activity and distribution channels.

Selling and distribution expenses rose 58% to Rs5.07bn, while administrative expenses increased 23% to Rs1.16bn.

However, the company received support from a positive reversal of Rs30.91m in loss allowance on trade debts (reversing a loss charge of Rs40.62m last year), driving operating profit up by 102% to Rs8.84bn.

Below the operating line, INIL absorbed a 27% increase in finance costs (Rs1.80bn) and a 2.8x (172%) increase in other operating charges (Rs1.15bn).

Despite these outlays, performance was heavily boosted by its equity-accounted investee, with the share of profit surging to Rs871.62m (up from Rs37.30m in FY25).

Driven by these factors, profit before income tax jumped 142% to Rs7.10bn.

The company absorbed an 91% higher corporate income tax expense of Rs2.60bn for the year (up from Rs1.36bn in FY25) alongside minor levies of Rs10.10m.

Supported by top-line revenue growth, expanded gross margins, and surging associate earnings, International Industries Limited securely closed the fiscal year with a 2.85x leap in final net profit, settling at Rs4.50bn.
