IDRT flags reduced operations

May 18, 2026 (MLN): Idrees Textile Mills Limited (PSX:IDRT) has
informed that its production activities will slow and operational capacity will
remain reduced for approximately four weeks.
The company cited a combination of unfavourable market
conditions driving the decision, including high raw material costs, a shortage
of locally available cotton, and delays in the arrival of imported cotton
shipments attributed to Middle East crises.
The company expects operations to gradually return to normal
levels, contingent on improvement in market conditions and the arrival of
imported cotton consignments, or the commencement of the new cotton crop season
whichever comes earlier.
The aforementioned information was disseminated through a
notification to Exchange.
