ICL issues Rs1.5bn short-term sukuk certificates

July 20, 2026 (MLN): Ittehad Chemicals Limited (PSX:ICL) has issued rated, unsecured, privately placed short-term sukuk certificates ("Sukuk-I") worth Rs 1.5bn to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs).

This has a tenure of up to six months from the date of drawdown, to meet the company's working capital requirements.

The transaction was completed on July 20, 2026, being the issue date.

The certificates were placed privately with QIBs, and the funds raised are intended to support the company's ongoing working capital needs.

The company has requested the Exchange to inform TRE Certificate Holders of the development accordingly.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
