Govt–Military unity strengthens Pakistan’s international recognition

September 1, 2025 (MLN): The joint strategy of the government and military leadership has strengthened Pakistan’s international position, leading the world to acknowledge the nation’s sacrifices, foresight and vision.

The victory in Marka-e-Haq established Pakistan as a dignified and responsible state, not only in military strength but also on the diplomatic front.

The decisive response to the enemy’s unprovoked aggression elevated Pakistan as an invincible force, with its role in Marka-e-Haq emerging as that of a Net Regional Stabilizer for peace in the region.

In the aftermath of this success, the government and military leadership together advanced Pakistan’s narrative worldwide.

High-level visits to key countries opened new avenues in defence, economic, and strategic partnerships.

The United States acknowledged Pakistan’s contribution, with President Donald Trump describing the country as peace-loving and responsible.

During Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s visit to Washington, a banquet was hosted in his honour at the White House. His meetings with American political and military leaders stressed growing opportunities for confidence-building and cooperation against terrorism.

US Central Command Chief General Michael Corella also commended Field Marshal Munir’s role in strengthening military collaboration.

On the government side, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif undertook several significant foreign visits and is currently in Tianjin, China, to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also played a notable diplomatic role, while Bilawal Bhutto Zardari contributed to promoting Pakistan’s stance globally.

Meanwhile, India’s attempts to push Pakistan into the grey list were unsuccessful, owing to effective coordination between the government and military leadership.

Through a blend of military capability and diplomatic engagement, Pakistan has demonstrated to the world that it is a responsible, peace-loving, and regionally stabilizing country that will not compromise on its security and sovereignty.
