Govt raises petrol by Rs4.93, diesel by Rs7.15

July 21, 2026 (MLN): The federal government has increased the petrol price by Rs4.93 per litre to Rs320.73 and the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs7.15 per litre to Rs367.21, effective July 22, 2026.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products based on the revised petroleum pricing mechanism issued by the federal government.

Previously, the ex-depot price of petrol (Motor Spirit) stood at Rs315.80 per litre, while HSD was priced at Rs360.06 per litre.
