Govt pledges to boost investment, ensure transparency, protection

June 19, 2025 (MLN): The government is committed to creating an enabling environment for investment, enhancing transparency, and safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar during a high-level meeting held in Islamabad on Thursday to address the challenges faced by the power sector, as per the press release issued.

Chairing the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need for swift and coordinated action to resolve outstanding issues in order to ensure the sector’s long-term stability and economic viability.

He also underscored the urgency of tackling sustainability concerns and restoring confidence in the power sector.
