Govt hikes petrol, diesel prices for next fortnight

September 30, 2025 (MLN): The government has increased the prices of major petroleum products for the fortnight starting October 1, 2025, on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

According to the Finance Division, the price of petrol (MS) has been raised by Rs4.07 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs4.04 per litre.

The revised prices are as follows:

The new rates will be applicable from October 1, 2025, until the next revision.
