Govt assures full federal support to provinces on financial challenges

March 31, 2026 (MLN): Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb on reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to supporting provinces in overcoming financial challenges, assuring full cooperation in resolving all legitimate economic issues.
In a meeting held at the Finance Division, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, according to a press release issued.
The discussion took place in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, during which the chief minister highlighted key economic and financial issues facing the province.
The finance minister assured complete support and reiterated the federal government’s commitment to facilitating provincial governments.
