Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs400 per tola

July 16, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs425,436 per tola, up Rs400.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs364,742 after a gain of Rs343, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs334,358 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs6,155 per tola (-Rs134) and Rs5,276 per 10-gram (-Rs115).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,032 an ounce, down $24.6 or 0.61% from the previous session, as intensifying conflict in the Middle East showed no signs of easing, wiping out recent optimism over cooling inflation and stoking fears that rising oil prices could push the Federal Reserve toward further rate hikes.
