Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs1500 per tola

August 18, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs357,700 per tola, up Rs1,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs306,670 after a gain of Rs1,286, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs281,124 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,031 per tola and Rs3,455 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,348 an ounce, up $20.8 or 0.63% from the previous session.

Gold rose after hitting a two-week low, supported by lower U.S. Treasury yields as investors awaited U.S President Donald Trump's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and European leaders to discuss a peace deal with Russia.
