Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,800 per tola

March 05, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs537,162 per tola, down Rs2,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs460,529 after a decline of Rs2,401, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs422,166 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs8,810 per tola (-Rs194) and Rs7,553 per 10-gram (-Rs166).

Globally, spot gold traded near $5,179 an ounce, up $14.6 or 0.28% from the previous session, as escalating tensions in the Middle East pushed investors toward safe-haven assets, while a weaker U.S. dollar further supported bullion demand.
