Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,800 per tola

August 31, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs466,136 per tola, down Rs1,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs399,636 after a decline of Rs1,543, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs366,346 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs7,179 per tola (+Rs67) and Rs6,154 per 10-gram (+Rs57).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,439 an ounce, down $19.5 or 0.44% from the previous session, , as Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh indicated that further interest rate hikes could be necessary to keep inflation in check.
