Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,800 per tola

March 16, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs522,762 per tola, down Rs1,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs448,184 after a decline of Rs1,543, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs410,850 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs8,441 per tola (-Rs100) and Rs7,236 per 10-gram (-Rs86).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,993 an ounce, down $3.3 or 0.07% from the previous session, reversing earlier gains, on fading expectations of near-term U.S. interest rate cuts.
