Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,000 per tola

September 08, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs462,136 per tola, down Rs1,000.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs396,207 after a decline of Rs857, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs363,202 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs7,069 per tola (+Rs10) and Rs6,060 per 10-gram (+Rs9).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,398 an ounce, down $24 or 0.54% from the previous session, buoyed by a softer US dollar as markets turned their attention to upcoming inflation figures that could influence the Federal Reserve's next policy decision.
