Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,000 per tola

July 29, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs426,436 per tola, down Rs1,000.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs365,600 after a decline of Rs857, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs335,145 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs6,291 per tola (+Rs68) and Rs5,393 per 10-gram (+Rs58).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,043 an ounce, up $18.7 or 0.47% from the previous session, as investors held back from taking fresh positions ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy decision and remarks from Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh, which are expected to offer fresh direction on the inflation and interest rate outlook.
