Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,000 per tola

August 15, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs357,100 per tola, down Rs1,000.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs306,155 after a decline of Rs858, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs280,652 per 10-gram.

 

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,072 per tola and Rs3,491 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,341 an ounce, up $6.5 or 0.19% from the previous session.

Gold prices edged higher on Friday, buoyed by a weaker dollar, but were poised for a weekly decline after hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation data dampened prospects for a super-sized September rate cut by the Federal Reserve.
