Gold hits all time historic high to reach Rs406,778 per tola

September 30, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs406,778 per tola, up Rs3,178.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs348,746 after a gain of Rs2,725, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs319,695 per 10-gram.

 

On the other hand, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,776 per tola (-Rs16) and Rs4,094 per 10-gram (-Rs14).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,845 an ounce, up $12.5 or 0.33% from the previous session.

Gold prices hit a fresh high on Tuesday and were poised to log their best month in nearly 16 years, as fears of a potential U.S. government shutdown and growing expectations of further Federal Reserve rate cuts boosted demand for the metal.
