Gatron restructuring gains momentum after Board approval

May 04, 2026 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Gatron (Industries) Limited (PSX: GATI) has approved a draft scheme of arrangement involving Nova Frontiers Limited and Ghani & Tayub (Private) Limited, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.
The proposed scheme falls under Section 279 of the Companies Act, 2017 and will be subject to the requisite regulatory and shareholder approvals.
As part of the process, the board also approved supplemental audited financial statements for the period ended December 31, 2025, prepared specifically for the restructuring.
The company had earlier disclosed in January that it was evaluating a potential reorganization.
This announcement marked a formal step toward executing that plan, though the detailed terms of the arrangement were not immediately disclosed.
