FM condemns D.I. Khan firing after 2 FBR personnel martyred

October 07, 2026 (MLN): Two personnel of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Enforcement Squad were martyred in a firing incident at Qureshi Mor on Bypass Road in D.I. Khan while performing their official duties.

The martyred officials were identified as Arm Guard Rahmatullah and Sepoy Sulaiman, who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb strongly condemned the incident and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the FBR personnel.

The Minister paid tribute to the martyred officials for their service and extended condolences to their bereaved families, praying for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace.

He directed that all relevant aspects of the incident be pursued in coordination with the concerned authorities and called for the identification of those responsible and their prosecution.

Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb reaffirmed the Government’s support for FBR personnel performing enforcement duties and appreciated their continued efforts to discharge their responsibilities despite challenging circumstances.
